Several weeks ago, William took a shoebox to school. When I asked what it was for, he told me his class was building an oven. Interesting. Then I forgot about it.
Today William came home with his very own solar oven. He made it during science class and he told me everyone made s'mores to test it out. By the looks of his white shirt smeared with blobs of chocolate, I'd say the ol' solar oven was a hot success!
When we got home, William wanted to bake something else in the oven on our porch. We opted for pan de chocolate.
After about 2 hours (we got a little busy and forgot) in 90 degree weather, his masterpiece was ready. Tasty too!
