William turned 2 on the 7th and we celebrated with a "William's Wheels" birthday party. Since he loves school buses so very much, it was only appropriate that his birthday cake be a school bus. William saw it and freaked out with excitment. Then it dawned on him that the cake was not a real school bus and he couldn't play with it. That didn't set well with him and he cried for 10 minutes. I felt so guilty for confusing him on his birthday! After the tears subsided, William went on to have a blast at his party and enjoy his friends. He got many a new vehicle for his birthday and we've been busy playing "goes" ever since!
