William gets to bring a treat to preschool on Thursday to celebrate his birthday. Since he's not a fan of cake and ice cream, he always opts for cookies! I asked him what kind of cookies he'd like to bring and he said, "airplanes mom mom." Shocker. Thank goodness I have a few airplane cookie cutters - a jumbo jet and a commuter.
We decided to try a practice run using a box of gingerbread that I had on hand. William stirred up the batter and was delighted at the final product. He has now requested red airplane cookies for his school party. Stay tuned!
