Talkin' up a storm

Adeline is almost 13 months and her vocabulary blows me away.  I don't remember William being as verbal as she is at this young age.  It's so fun to communicate with her and watch her absorb the world.  Here is a list of her accomplishments:

Words Adeline can say loud and clear:
  • Cockadoodledoo
  • dog
  • ball
  • backpack
  • "Hi Walter" (Rachel's dog)
  • "I see a...." (when turning the pages of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" the book)
  • cracker
  • Dada
  • Mama
  • hi
  • bye-bye
  • "one, two" (when counting)
  • shoes
  • duck
  • "caw-caw" (bird)
  • bus
  • baby
  • night-night
  • on
  • off
Words Adeline knows without saying but will point them out:
  • hair
  • nose
  • ear
  • mouth
  • eyes
  • head
  • foot
  • finger
  • cup
  • milk
  • straw
  • drink
  • door
  • keys
  • airplane
  • stroller
  • tv
  • chair
  • toys
  • paci
  • window
  • cars
  • train
  • table
  • no touch
  • tub
  • high five
  • water
  • and many more

Sounds Adeline can make thanks to her favorite book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?"
  • "Caw-Caw" - bird
  • "quack, quack" - duck
  • "squeal sound while raising her arm above her head like a trunk" - elephant
  • "meep, meep" - cat (meow)
  • "BAAAAAAAA" her FAVORITE and first animal sound for sheep
  • "huuuh huuuh" - dog (ruff, ruff) deep and heavy sounding
  • "cockadoodeldoo" - rooster
  • a humming sound that goes from low to high - horse
  • pouts her lips together in an open and closed way - fish
  • at 9m, she could make the sound of an airplane and fly one of William's over her head
I know I am probably leaving A LOT of words out, but this will at least give me good perspective for her baby book.
